AHG Backs First Adria Customer Experience Awards, Invites Hotels to BenchmarkGuest-First Excellence

Adria Hospitality Group (AHG) has joined forces with Awards International to open entries for the inaugural Adria Customer Experience Awards (ACXA™25), a regional programme that will crown the best customer- and employee-experience initiatives across the Adriatic region. Led by AHG co-founder and ACXA™25 Principal Dragan Đorđević, the competition brings the global CX standards—trusted by brands such as Amazon, Coca Cola, Mercedes, Vodafone and others —into the hospitality market that first inspired the very idea of customer experience.

Hospitality has long been credited with “inventing” modern CX thinking; industry analyst’s note that hotels pioneered the systematic orchestration of memorable moments long before the term was coined. By anchoring ACXA™25 in Belgrade—with online finals on 13 November 2025 and a gala ceremony on 27 November 2025 in Belgrade—the organizers aim to give hotel operators a regional stage on which to showcase those guest-centric traditions.

The awards feature 27 specialist categories, from Best Customer/Guest-centric Culture, Best Loyalty Programs to Employee Wellbeing Programs, allowing properties of every size to benchmark their progress against peers and receive independent feedback from an international judging panel. “Great service is in our DNA,” Đorđević said in a recent post, highlighting the natural bridge between hotel know-how and contemporary CX practice.
